Bach Agency), and Brent Murray (Dairyhaus), show their support for the community through their involvement with Christmas Walk. Join us in helping make every Christmas Walk the best its ever been.

CANDY CANE CRAFT FAIR

We have the best holiday crafts and gifts every year. You will find something for everyone.

LIGHTING OF THE PARK

With all the spirit of a small community we join in song & cheer to light up Katie's Tree & Village Green Park. We close out the evening with a visit from Santa.

LIGHTED PARADE

The famous Lighting Christmas Parade always delights with some great Christmas Themed floats coasting down Main St. All the villages lights up to the beauty of the parade while we ring in Christmas.

  • Candy Cane Craft Fair

    Saturday Dec. 3rd

    Greater Comm. Ctr, 7:30 am – 3:00pm

    We have the best holiday crafts and gifts every year. Come visit us for our Annual Craft Fair.

  • Lighting of the Park

    Saturday Dec. 3rd

    Village Green Park, 4pm – 6pm

    Join us @ 3pm for Caroling and Hot CoCoa followed by the Dedication of Katies Tree. Then we light up the Park and Santa Claus drops by.

  • Rockton Lions Pancake Breakfast

    $5 Adults, $3 Children 3+ years – All you can eat pancake, sausage & juice hosted by the Rockton Lions. Proceed benefit the Wimpy’s Fund. A special surprise guest appearance.

  • RRVBC Blood Drive

    Help save lives by donating at this Blood Drive hosted by Rockton Lions.

  • Talcott Book Sale

    Book Sale – Lots of books, A-V materials, misc. items for purchase. Sponsored by Friends of the Talcott Library. Proceeds used to support Children’s Programming.

    Talcott Free Library 9-3pm

  • Miss Andrea's Christmas

    Free Christmas gift wrapping, letters to Santa, make your own reindeer food, and a photo booth with your favorite characters.

    Miss Andrea’s Dance Factory, 116 W. Main Street 9-4pm

  • RUMC Craft Sale

    Handmade gifts, quilts, afghans, scarves, hats, jewelry, wooden items, vases, refurbished furniture, baskets, Christmas decor.

  • RUMC Bake Sale

    Treats available for purchase that will satisfy your sweet tooth.

  • Pictures With Santa

    Take your picture with Santa Claus. He will be at his house downtown waiting for you.

  • Christmas @ the Mack House

    Witness re-enactors portraying a typical 1847 Christmas at Whitman Trading Post at Macktown, Noon-3:30. Cider and cookies, activities for children.  No charge. Donations Cheerfully Accepted.

    Macktown Forest Preserve 12-3:30pm

  • Horse Drawn Carriage Rides

    The tradition continues. Horse drawn carriages will be at the Christmas walk in the afternoon on December 3rd.

  • Chili Luncheon & Supper

    $5 All you can eat Chili, Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Corn Bread.

     

    Rockton United Methodist Church 12-7pm

  • RFD Open House

    The RFD is having an open house Saturday afternoon, but the station will always be available as a warming spot to the public.

    Station 1, 1-4pm

  • Children's Craft

    Bring your children in to create a marshmallow hot chocolate stirrer. They can take it home or enjoy it in the store.

    The Mix 1-4pm

  • Memorial Luminary Lane

    Dedicate a Luminary to a friend or loved one. Luminaries are $5 each and will line the walkway at Settlers Park.

    Settlers Park 4-6pm

  • Warming Center

    Take a break from the fun to warm up while you meet some of the people who make Rockton great.

     

    Village Hall 4-7pm

  • Rockton Lions Wimpy's Fund Auction

    Come bid in our live & silent auction on goods & services donated by local merchants. All proceeds benefit Wimpy’s Fund for Christmas meals for the needy.
